Terms of sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) govern all product sales made on the backpack.paris website (hereinafter “the Site”) between:
- The company operating the Site (hereinafter “the Seller”),
- Any natural or legal person making a purchase via the Site (hereinafter “the Customer”).

Any order placed on the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

3. Products

The products offered for sale are those presented on the Website on the day the Customer views them. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description including:

- Its essential characteristics
- Its price
- Any available variants

Visuals (photos, videos) are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding.

4. Prices

Prices are listed in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding shipping costs. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, products are billed based on the price in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

5. Ordering
5.1 Ordering Process

The Customer selects the products they wish to purchase and adds them to their shopping cart.
The order is confirmed after:

- Verification of the shopping cart contents
- Entry of shipping and billing information
- Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
- Confirmation of payment

5.2 Confirmation

A confirmation email is sent to the Customer after the order is confirmed. The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of:

- An existing dispute with the Customer
- Non-payment
- Suspected fraud

6. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon placing the order. The accepted payment methods are:

- Credit card, Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Bancontact
- PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Amex, Wero

Transactions are secured via a payment service provider.

7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery Areas

Products can be delivered within France and/or internationally.

7.2 Delivery Times

Delivery times are indicated before the order is confirmed. They may vary depending on the carrier and the destination.

7.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are specified at the time of ordering.

7.4 Delays / Issues

In the event of a delay or a lost package, the Customer must contact customer service.
The Seller shall not be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.

8. Receipt of Products

The Customer is required to inspect the condition of the products upon receipt. If a product is damaged or does not conform to the order, the Customer must:

- Notify the carrier
- Contact customer service within 48 hours

9. Right of Withdrawal

The Customer has 60 days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal. Conditions:

- Products must be returned in perfect condition
- In their original packaging and with their original label
- Unused

Return shipping costs are the Customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

10. Returns and Refunds
10.1 Return Procedures

The Customer must contact customer service before making any return.

10.2 Refund

The refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt and verification of the returned products. The refund will be processed via the original payment method.

11. Legal Warranties

The products are covered by the legal warranties provided for under French law:

- Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code)
- Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code)

12. Liability

The Seller shall not be held liable for:

- Indirect damages
- Misuse of the product
- Acts of God

13. Personal Data

The personal data collected is necessary for:

- Order processing
- Customer relationship management

In accordance with the GDPR, the Customer has the right to:

- Access
- Rectification
- Erasure
- Objection

14. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Website (text, images, logos, design) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, exploitation, or use is prohibited without prior authorization.

15. Force Majeure

The Seller shall not be held liable for the non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure (strike, natural disaster, pandemic, etc.).

16. Governing Law – Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution shall be sought. Failing that, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
